Start: 7:00 a.m. Chambers Grove Park, Duluth, MN
Course: 50K - point to point on Superior Hiking Trail - 100K out and back on Superior Hiking Trail
Aid: Race Director will provide aid in the form of water and any personal items you'd like along the way. Aid will be provided from a roving aid station at various points along the course

If running the 50K, you may meet at the finish line at Bayfront Park and we will carpool to the start. Meet at Bayfront at 6:00 a.m. If you're planning on running the 100K, meet at the start at Chambers Grove Park for the 7:00 a.m. race start.

Directions to Chambers Grove Park:
Exit I-35 at the Midway Rd. exit. Go South on Becks Rd./Hwy. 13 to Hwy. 23/Commonwealth Ave. Turn RIGHT on Hwy. 23/Commonwealth Ave. and continue on Hwy. 23 to Fond du Lac neighborhood. Chambers Grove is just off Hwy. 23 before going over the bridge over the St. Louis River and just after the junction with Hwy. 210.

Directions to Bayfront Park:
From I-35 take exit 256B for Lake Ave/5th Ave W. Turn RIGHT at S 5th Ave W (signs for Harbor Drive). Slight RIGHT onto ramp to W Railroad St. Turn LEFT into large dirt parking lot in front of Bayfront Park. You will see Bayfront Park from the Interstate.
Will there be an official 50K for 2009 too? Pretty please ;)

ReplyDeleteThe plan is to hold an official 50K or marathon on the same course as the 100K when we officially run the race. So, yes! But thanks for saying pretty please anyway! :-)
